There are already other established mountain biking meet-up groups in our area but they're not what I was looking for. I want this to be a group for advanced cross-county riders to get together for some great rides and great mountain biking trips. People joining this group should be established riders with a good fitness level and good technical riding ability. In regards to technical ability, I'm not talking about the ability to huck off big jumps doing a no-handed superman tail-whip 720 back- …
I started this group to meet like minded folks in the South Bay with the hopes of having more group riding opportunities. There are other rider groups that sponsor social events that may or may not have anything to do with riding. We will not do sponsored club rides, charity rides, poker runs, movie nights, bowling, karaoke, etc. This group's primary focus is the ride, the event or destination associated with the ride is secondary. Group riding itself creates the opportunity to socialize. A …

The purpose of Dangerous Curves is to foster a safe and supportive riding environment for women and their friends and families, while developing friendships with other people sharing a common interest in motorcycling, and to promote the knowledge about and appreciation of motorcycles. Our motto is R-E-S-P-E-C-T, which stands for: Ride safe and sane always. Follow laws, posted speed limits, and follow the lead of your Road Captain. We ask that riders have a current CA motorcycle license and ins …
… I'll use this meetup group to facilitate setting up a meeting somewhere, such as a Starbucks. From there, whomever shows up can plan their ride. If you plan to meet, please RSVP, so people know to expect you at the meetup site. Now it is your turn. You can propose meetups by sending an idea to the group. I'll post the meetup time and location, so it goes out to the group. You can track who will be coming by checking the RSVP list. Have fun. Ride safe. See you at our next meetup. Regards,Bryan

Meet other bicyclists that are interested in regular rides at a brisk pace (15-20mph). We are currently riding 2-3x/week in the evenings (9:45-11:00pm). The course is a 2.3 mile circuit in Dublin, CA. (Most of us are not categorized USCF racers; we aim to stay fit and throw in a few sprints for fun.) Why so late? Most of us have young kids and this is a good exercise time after they've gone to bed. Plus, traffic is minimal and there's never any sunblock needed! Some riders do longer rides on w …

Our goal is to provide a friendly, social community in the Silicon Valley / South Bay Area for adults to meet and play “European-style” boardgames. Favorites include Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne and Ticket to Ride, but there are many, many more games of this style from which to choose. We place as much importance on socializing as we do on playing games: although games are naturally competitive, this is a group specifically for people who want to play games in a comfortable, relaxing settin …
